About Freelancer kits
The tax set-aside tracker logs your income by client and every transfer you make to your tax savings. It compares what you have moved with what the rate you type calls for so far, and lists the payment periods and due dates you enter, each marked Paid, Upcoming, Due in so many days or Overdue. Versions cover full-time freelancing, side income, a creative freelancer with expenses, and state plus federal rates. It tracks your numbers; it is not tax advice.
The rate calculator starts from the take-home pay you want, your costs, your weeks off and the share of your hours you can bill, and works out the hourly rate that covers them. It also turns that rate into the unit your work is sold in, such as a day rate, a project price, a price per word, a shoot price or a monthly retainer, and has a quote builder. Versions cover consultants, designers, writers, photographers and virtual assistants.
Each workbook has a Dashboard with 3 charts, a copy with sample data and a blank copy with the same formulas. Nothing is password-locked. They are made for Excel. Each costs 2 credits, about $2, and comes with a Commercial licence when you unlock or buy it.
Questions people ask
Does the tax tracker tell me how much tax to pay?
No. You type your own set-aside rate and your own payment dates, and the tracker shows what you have moved against what that rate says. It tracks your numbers; it is not tax advice. A tax preparer can tell you what rate to use.
Can I use these for my business and clients?
Yes, when you unlock them with credits or buy them for $2: freelancer kit workbooks come with a Commercial licence, so you can use them in your business and client work. Downloads through All-Access Monthly come with a Personal licence. You cannot resell the workbook itself.
