Its Mileage tab logs each business trip and works out the deduction from the rate in Settings. A bookkeeping workbook for a consulting practice. It has 7 tabs: Start Here, Dashboard, Income, Expenses, Mileage, Profit and Loss, Settings. The Dashboard with 3 charts shows revenue, expenses, net profit ($5,671 in the sample data) and profit margin, where the money went by expense category, plan against actual, and revenue against expenses for every month. Type one row per payment on Income and one per cost on Expenses, log trips on Mileage, and Profit and Loss adds up every month and quarter for you. Pick a month at the top right and the whole Dashboard follows. You get two files: one filled with sample data so you can see it working, and a blank copy with the same formulas. Nothing is password-locked. It tracks your numbers; it is not tax or accounting advice. Made for Excel (XLSX).
